Allison Glover, born and raised in Plainfield, New Jersey, is an at home wife and mother, a Community Health Educator and a Home Business Coach who trains audiences on Infant Sleep Safety, S.I.D.S. Risk Reduction, Child Abuse Prevention and Juvenile Diabetes. Allison has served as a Community Health Educator for 19 years and has worked for the Pennsylvania Hospital Diabetes Education Center, the Georgia S.I.D.S. Project and First Candle (formerly the National SIDS Alliance). In May of 2002, Allison convinced the Senate Sub-committee in Washington, D.C. to award $300 million to S.I.D.S. programs in the U.S. so that infant sleep safety programs could remain active and statewide coroner trainings could be conducted by the CDC. In January of 2008, Allison fulfilled one of her life goals of founding her own health education company called “Garrett’s Voice” where she serves as an Infant Sleep Safety Trainer and a Bereavement Support Coordinator. Recently, Allison's bereavement advice to newly bereaved parents of an infant were highlighted in the nationally syndicated Dear Amy advice column on December13, 2011.
In addition to her work in the healthcare and wellness industry, Allison owns several home based businesses and loves teaching and supporting others who work from home.
Allison loves running (and is a 2 time All-American in track and field), singing, traveling with her family, making people laugh, being everybody’s “Life Coach” and fellowshipping with other Christians. When not training locally, nationally or online, Allison currently resides near Stone Mountain, Georgia, with her husband, their busy tribe of 4 kidlets and their Beagle, Stella and their Jack Russell Terrior, Ginger.
